ice

ice cream有复数。ice cream既可以当可数名词，也可以当不可数名词。当ice cream指的是冰淇淋这个名称时，不可数。但如果是一杯一杯、一支一支时就是可数的。

1、不可数，表示抽象的冰淇淋或者前面已经有量词了。

A.表示抽象的冰淇淋

Desserts are served with cream or ice cream.甜点上加奶油或冰激凌。

I'll get you some ice cream.我会给你买些冰激凌。Ice cream is high in fat and sugar.冰激凌富含脂肪和糖。

B.Ice cream前面已经有量词了，例：

I ate two dishes of ice cream.我吃了两碟冰淇淋。The boy ate several dishfuls of ice cream.那小男孩吃了好几满盘冰淇淋。

2、可数名词，指一份冰淇淋。例：

Who wants an ice cream?谁要冰激凌？

The boy charged up and asked for an ice cream.这个男孩跑上来，要了一份冰淇淋。

3、ice cream复数为什么不加s？

可数名词的时候，是可以加s的，如The boy charged up and asked for two ice creams.这个男孩跑上来，要了两份冰淇淋。

I ate two dishes of ice cream.

我吃了两碟冰淇淋。

The boy ate several dishfuls of ice cream.

那小男孩吃了好几满盘冰淇淋。

She made a pig of herself with the ice cream.

她大吃了一通冰激凌。
